Bassford College Baseball Rankings 5.23.2016

For the first time this year, a team not named Florida or South Carolina will sit atop the Bassford College Baseball Top 25 rankings. Louisville, winners of 46 out of 56 games played this year, passed the Gators for top honors this week as the team is 16-10 versus Top 50 teams and hasn’t lost to anyone outside of that range. The team remains the only in the Top 25 to have both a plus .300 team batting average (.325) and a minus 3 team ERA (2.69). This is simply the most complete team in college baseball and their -1 luck indicates they could be even better than we have seen thus far.
